First Job

Most people are excited for the there first career job, not me. I am anxious to say the least. In the film and TV industry, the first job is like the acceptance into a special club. If you pass the initial test, then you can continue to work, if you fail...well...YOU FAIL.

My first job was even more special, I would be working with the BBC on a TV series called the Shadow Line. The production, line produced by Claudine Sturdy (The Secret Agent) would be a gruelling 15 hour days, running around the Isle of Man doing anything, everything and whatever was needed to succeed.

It was on this 'first' job that I truly understood the need for pocket notebooks.
