Busy Year - Feb 18

So what a crazy year 2018 was!! Looking back at my previous blog started of with House Hunters International in February with an amazing family. Only staying in the UK for a year however, I feel like we will always be friends. This shoot was in Abingdon near Oxford and saw me working with an amazing team once again.

Not long after House Hunters International, I visited family in the North East staying at Premier Inn, Washington. One of my favorite Premier Inn's as the staff are friendly, rooms are clean and tidy with a Toby Carvery and bar just outside the front door. However, it was not long before Leopard USA was requiring my services once again on another House Hunters International.

This time we were based in London and stayed at the Crowne Plaza London - Kings Cross Hotel. They say this hotel is four stars and with that you expect anything is possible. We were staying here when the storms hit London and snow blizzards covered the streets in white dust. However, I am a very warm blooded person and when the streets are saying minus 2 degrees, I am still putting on the air condition to cool down. Problem with hotels is their air-conditions is either set to warm heat or cool heat and when everyone else wants warmth I have to suffer.

The hotel was really warm though with a temperature set well about 25 degrees. This meant the nights were really warm. I had asked the staff to open the window however, due to Health & Safety they screwed them shut and refused to allow them to be opened. It only took a screw driver to get some cool air into the room.

The food at this place is reasonably priced along with the drinks. Four stars for the food in fact with a wide variety of choice and all very delicious. The only issue is the staff in the kitchen were a little slow at serving customers meaning waits of about a hour.

This took me into March 2018, TO BE CONTINUED!!
