2023 Line Producing

Ending the last blog, I said I took a short break…well anyone who knows me, knows that was slight rubbish. 

I jumped straight into bed on a Drama Scripted show that had suffered on the original shoot, losing around 40% of the footage they needed – just not shot!!

This led to me originally being hired as a Production Manager but moving to Line Producing.  I was brought in to do a small week shoot in the UK in Manchester which in January and was then asked to consider doing a 2nd pick up shoot in Malta and Madame Blanc Mysteries 3 as a Line Producer.  I quickly jumped on board and started prepping. 

Going to Malta for weeks on time was amazing and the shoot was fantastic but again, nothing comes without its issues and as a Line Producer, along with the Producer we had to dismiss two crew members for various reasons.  This was probably the hardest thing I’ve had to do in work to date but the support from the Producer and Production Executive along with the company was amazing!  Couldn’t fault it.

Upon completion of Madame Blanc Mysteries, I was on a break for Christmas but short lived as I was soon asked to consider prepping for another drama production shooting in the next year.
