One Hot Summer - BBC Three

After completing Nazi Megastructures with DSP, Ltd; part of the Endemol Shine Group I went on to work at the BBC Three based in London, White City. This BBC Three production was in the midst of pre-production and needed an extra pair of hands to come on-board and get stuck straight in. First task, something I have never done before - PRESS LAUNCH. That is right, I was in charge or organising the contributors to come to London, not meet one enough but have photos, videos, paperwork and a briefing ready for the filming of what could only be described as an amazing holiday of work - for some!!!

One Hot Summer proved to be an amazing project to work on with lots of challenging moments but also lots of satisfying tasks completed. Taking a group of young adults to a different country and filming that will always present a challenge however, with the team, crew and contributors that we had this was made so much easier. But all things must come to an end and this came to an end in a bad way. Getting ill in the last week was not fun and I thought it was a simple cold with a fever however, ended up in hospital with a swollen face and a confused looking doctor or two.

Couple of days in Hospital (1 before discharging myself) was stressful enough but I headed home and recovered nicely before having to plan the next contract - only a week off...and onward to the next project.
